BLACK BODY RADIATION

by Robert Spady

In the city in the noon time heat
There he stands in the shade of an old oak tree
Lunch in hand, wondering where she might be
Cause in his heart he has this insecurity
Is love ever enough he asks time and time again
Could I have misread the lines
The language is the same
So they say So they say
She needs black, black body radiation
But it's just in his imagination
Cause it's just a game Love's the same
In the suburbs, in the summer night's breeze
She feels so good she feels she want to please
This stranger with the eyes shooting laser beams
But she feels that what they have
is much more than it seems
Is love ever enough she asks time and time again
Could I have misread the lines
The language is the same
So they say So they say
She needs black, black body radiation
But it's just in his imagination
Cause it's just a game Love's the same
